1. Which terminals do international and domestic flights operate from?
All international flights arrive and depart from Terminal 1 (International).  All Qantas,  QantasLink and Jetstar domestic flights arrive and depart from Terminal 2 (Qantas  Domestic).  All Alliance Airlines, OzJet, Skywest Airlines, Tiger Airways Domestic flights and Virgin Blue flights arrive and depart from  Terminal 3 (Multi-User Domestic).

2. Is there a terminal transfer service?
Yes, an inter-terminal transfer service between Terminal 1 (International) and Terminals 2 & 3 (Domestic) operates between the hours of 0300 and 0200 each day, to coincide with the arrival and departure of international airlines. Click here for more information on the terminal transfer service and the bus schedule.

3. Where are the regional terminals located?

Perth Airport encompasses several smaller terminal operations, which provide charter services and services to specific regional areas in Western Australia.  The regional terminals providing these services are located along Fauntleroy Avenue, Newton Road and Valentine Road.

A separate car park for patrons of the regional terminals is also located on Valentine Road.

4. What time should I check-in before my flight departs?

There are different check-in times for international and domestic flights.  For international flights, passengers should check-in approximately three hours prior to their flight departure time.

6. Are there any facilities where I can store my luggage?

Yes, luggage lockers are provided by Smarte Carte and are located outside Terminal 1 (International) and the Domestic Terminals.

7. What services and facilities are available at Perth Airport?

Perth Airport provides a variety of services and facilities to make your visit to the airport as comfortable as possible.  Small variations exist in the services and facilities provided in Terminal 1 (International), Terminal 2 (Qantas Domestic) and Terminal 3 (Multi-User Domestic).

9. Is there a lost property service at Perth Airport?

Yes, there is a lost property service at Perth Airport for items lost in Terminal 1 (International) or Terminal 3 (Multi-User Domestic Terminal for Alliance Airlines, Skywest Airlines and Virgin Blue).

A lost property service also exists for items lost within Terminal 2 (Qantas Domestic).

If you have left something on the aircraft you travelled on, please contact the respective airline direct.

10. Is there internet or wireless access available at Perth Airport?

Yes, several internet access machines are located at various points throughout the terminals.  There is a charge of A$2.00 for this service. 

Wireless internet access is also available in the departures lounge in Terminal 1 (Interational) and throughout Terminal 3 (Multi-User Domestic).  This service is provided via a partnership with Azure.

11. Can I purchase or collect airline tickets at Perth Airport?

Ticketing offices or service desks are located in Terminal 1 (International), Terminal 2 (Qantas Domestic) and Terminal 3 (Multi-User Domestic) at Perth Airport.

Each ticketing office or service desk provides assistance for ticketing queries or an ‘on-the-day of travel’ ticket collection service for passengers of particular airlines.

12. What items are prohibited as carry-on luggage on aircraft?

There are now increased limitations on the items that are allowed for carriage in the cabin of the aircraft.  All knives or cutting implements such as nail scissors and pocketknives or sharp pointed objects like knitting needles, or corkscrews are prohibited as carry-on luggage.  Click here for more information on prohibited items and security arrangements at Perth Airport.

New regulations came into effect on 31 March 2007 restricting the amount of liquids, aerosols and gels that travellers can carry as hand luggage on all international flights from Australia.  Click here for more information on the new restrictions to carry-on luggage.

14. How much duty free can I purchase?

Duty free allowances apply to passengers entering and leaving Australia.  Each adult is allowed 2250ml of alcoholic beverages, 250 cigarettes or 250 grams of tobacco products, unlimited fragrances for personal use (excluding concentrates) and A$900 worth of other goods.  Click here for more information on duty free allowances.

The Tourist Refund Scheme (TRS) was introduced by the Australian Federal Government and took effect on 1 July 2000.  The scheme means that tourists and Australian overseas travellers may be entitled to a refund of goods and services tax (GST) and wine equalisation tax (WET) on purchases of goods bought from Australian retailers.  Click here for more information on the TRS.

16. What items do I have to declare for quarantine purposes?

When entering Western Australia, there are several items that you must declare.  These items include all fruit, vegetables and any food or goods of plant or animal origin.  On the spot fines apply if you do not declare items of quarantine concern.
